Setting AFHTO’s Course

A significant number of the developing Family Health Teams requested that a meeting be organized in Toronto for all FHT Leaders, focusing on the issues of corporate structure and governance for the FHTs, the relationship between the FHT and professionals delivering services, corporate liability/ risk management and insurance.

This meeting also sought to propose the formation of an Association of FHTs to pursue these goals.
