Services provided by AFHTO may include:

• Liaison with various health care professional bodies, associations and other organizations to ensure a sustainable FHT model.
• Ontario Pharmacists' Association
•  The provision of association-sponsored services such as liability insurance at group rates
• The development (or evolution) of computer and communications approaches for use across the health care community in which FHTs operate
• In consultation with stakeholder groups, the development of statements of best practice
• The development of arrangements with other health service delivery and/or professional organizations for support to isolated allied health workers.
